Learn About My Journey With Music

About Me

Hello! I have been playing the violin since the year 2000 and playing violin and viola professionally since 2015. I have performed extensively as a student at Temple University and professionally. Venues include The Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts, World Cafe Live, The Freeman Stage at Bethany beach. I enjoy playing a wide variety of styles including classical, pop, jazz, chamber music, as well as composing original works.

I have taught for 12 years throughout Delaware and Pennsylvania. I have run a robust and growing strings program in Appoquinimink School District of 155 students. I have served on the faculty at esteemed community music school such as The Music School of Delaware and The Settlement Music School. I have taught private lessons since 2015 and have two levels of certification in the Suzuki Method of violin instruction. I am truly passionate about teaching and helping students develop into their best selves. The goal is not necessarily to create professional musicians but to create good humans with “beautiful hearts” that can better themselves and their communities.
Music as a Lifestyle

“Teaching music is not my main purpose. I want to make good citizens. If children hear fine music from the day of their birth and learn to play it, they develop sensitivity, discipline and endurance. They get a beautiful heart.”

― Shinichi Suzuki
